For Oyster Bay, continue north on 106 for .5 mile into Oyster Bay Village.
From New York City
Points west take the Oyster Bay branch of the Long Island railroad.
From points east you can transfer to the Oyster Bay train line at Mineola or Jamaica.
The Oyster Bay Train Station is located two blocks from Main Street in Oyster Bay.
Enter Oyster Bay Harbor and either pick up an available mooring from the
Oyster Bay Marine Center (VHF Channel 71) or drop your own hook in one
of the many anchorages. Further west, you will find the Waterfront Center
(VHF Channel 19). Both the Oyster Bay Marine Center and the Waterfront
Center offer dinghy tie-up so that you can explore the village. You will find
an information kiosk at these locations that will provide maps of the village
and points of interest. Amenities at the Waterfront Center are limited since it is
primarily an educational facility; however, bike rental is available at the
Center for your convenience to tour the Oyster Bay area.
